Giant Pizza from Calda Pizza

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine celebrate his birthday.  He rented a big house with a pool and invited all of his friends.  Since I am driving an AUV, he asked me to buy one of those giant pizzas from Calda Pizza. Calda Pizza is one of the very few pizza places that offer giant sized pizza.  There largest size has a diameter of 36 inches. The next biggest is 30 inches. I was scared that the biggest size would not fit my car so I ordered one 30 incher and one 20 inch pizza.





Calda Pizza has several branches in Cebu and they can deliver the gigantic pizzas right at your doorstep.

Filipino Restaurants in Cebu: Enjoyable Dinner at Parilya

 When a balikbayan goes home to the Philippines, he/she would definitely want to eat in a Filipino restaurant.  My mom is no different.  One of her favorite Filipino restaurants in Cebu is Cafe Laguna. A couple of weeks ago, I drove her to the Basilica Minore Del Santo Nino because she wanted to hear mass with her friends. My wife and I tagged along.  After the mass, my mom said that she wanted to have an early dinner.  I decided to take her to Parilya, Laguna group's newest restaurant at the South Road Properties. Restaurants in Cebu: Fifteen Fine Dishes to try at F Café and Bar

I recently got invited to check out another restaurant at The Gallery in Mabolo.   I immediately said yes because The Gallery has been the home to several interesting restaurants.   The name of the latest establishment that I have tried is F Café and Bar. I expected it to be the typical run of the mill bar/café that offer fatty dishes to cater to a crowd interested in  booze, as well as, food. Well, I was totally wrong and really glad that I was.

The New Da Vinci's Famous White Sauce Pizzas

Last Saturday, Kalami Cebu, along with several bloggers from Cebu, attended the brand launch of Cebuano pizza chain Da Vinci's.  Among local brands, Da Vinci's is up there in my personal rankings. I really like their white sauce pizzas.  The Da Vinci's Masterpiece, The Mona Lisa, and Spicy Shawarma Pizza are among my favorites. I was really glad that the company is innovating and moving towards competing against the big boys. I really enjoyed their new offerings and hopefully, Cebuanos will love them as much as I do.
