Kalami Cebu! - A Gastronomic Guide to Cebu

Rabbits are such cute pets making it difficult for most of us to cook or eat such beautiful animals.  But, there is a new restaurant in The Market by Sugbo Mercado that is hoping to convince us that we consider eating rabbit meat.  I had dinner at D'Bunnychon last week and I am somehow convinced that we should give rabbit meat a chance.

When was the last time you ate balut? Do you really eat balut? How about eating a balut in a fancy restaurant? Do you even think that it is possible?  Probably if you live in New York, Paris, or Sydney.  In Cebu, the most unusual place that I tried balut was in Planet Grapes at the new wing of Ayala Center Cebu.

One of the popular street foods in Cebu that gained a mainstream following in the past year is the Tuslob Buwa.  Tuslob Buwa is basically sauteed pig brain eaten a la fondue.  Tuslob Eateries are sprouting like mushrooms because many people love the different eating experience that it offers.
