Best Things To Eat in Dumanjug, Cebu

Image
A few weeks ago, I asked the candidates of Binibining Cebu 2017 about what is delicious in their place.  Some were really confident with their answers that it made me want to go to their towns and check it out myself.  Last week, I got the chance to visit Dumanjug and try out Bisnok and a new local favorite called Cho'la.  So, here's a humble post about the best things to eat in Dumanjug, Cebu.

Delicacies: Medellin's Chrisphelle Special Otap, Patatas, Huevos

I love eating local delicacies especially cookies.  Crunchy cookies are some of my favorite things to eat when I am at home and nothing else to do. Recently, my mother in law brought some cookies and she said it was either from a fellow doctor or patient of hers. The delicacies she brought included otap, patatas, and huevos.  The cookies came from the town of Medellin in the Northern part of Cebu. Growing up, I really enjoy eating these cookies especially the patatas.  I felt like a kid again when I started opening eating a pack or two of the delicacies from Chrispelle Bakeshop.

One Sunday I went to Banilad Town Center to check out some shoes, but I ended up buying some delicious kakanin from Betty's Kakanin.  Betty's Kakanin offers some of the best kakanin in the city.  The delicacy stall also some fresh green leafy vegetables and a host of delicious locally made delicacies.
