Steakhouse: Amazing lunch with Olio's Buy 1 Take 1 Rib Eye Steak


Olio has been my favourite steakhouse in Cebu.  I really like their location and always enjoy their promos.  It has been a while since I ate there so, a few weeks ago I decided to have lunch there with my Aunt.   The first time that I ever ate at this steakhouse is way back when they had an all-you-can eat rib eye promo.  I was wondering what their current promo is. The current promo for their steaks is Buy 1 Take 1 U.S.D.A. Angus Rib Eye Steak at 1,599 pesos.





The 200 gram Angus Rib Eye is good enough for one person.  It goes so well with their Mashed Potatoes.  I had my steak cooked at  medium rare and I really enjoyed eating it. It was well seasoned and the meat is of excellent quality.  


Olio also serves a good salmon if you are not into red meat.  The fish option is perfect during the lenten season.  They also have salads and pasta and a host of different main courses.


I really enjoyed my lunch at Olio.  This restaurant has always been one of Cebu's best restaurants and I totally with those who feted them with distinctions.  I always suggest this place for special occasions or when sealing important business deals.  It is an excellent dinner place and their wine selection can elevate a steak dinner to a higher level.  If you are looking for an outstanding Cebu restaurant to bring some visitors who are craving for steak, you should consider Olio at Crossroads, Banilad, Cebu City.

Wing Night Part I: Bad Boys Wingz- Another Awesome Chicken Wing Place in Cebu

In the past year, there have been several restaurants in Cebu that wants to claim "The Best Wings Place in Cebu" title.  The introduction of several chicken wing places cannot outpace the demand for delicious and spicy chicken wings. It is definitely a booming segment as many  Cebuanos flock to their favorite wing place.  Recently, I had a "wing night" with my wife and we restaurant-hopped in two of the best chicken wing places in Cebu. The Abaca restaurant group opened its newest outlet that is fast becoming the trendiest bakeshop/cafe in Cebu.  The Abaca Baking Company started serving fresh breads and pastries to Cebuanos a few weeks ago.  It is located at the Crossroads Mall in Banilad.
