Mexican Restaurant: Enjoying some of the best dishes of Mooon Cafe
Mooon Cafe is arguably the No.1 Mexican Restaurant in Cebu. The restaurant is known is for its Mexican dishes sold at affordable prices. Mooon Cafe was a small restaurant in Guadalupe years ago and since it was near my Aunt's house, our family go there when we crave for some tacos and other delicious Mexican dishes. From a popular small restaurant, Mooon Cafe has grown into one of Cebu's most popular restaurants with several branches in the island. Mooon Cafe has also expanded its operations to other cities in the Visayas and Mindanao.
I went to Mooon Cafe a few weeks back with some friends and family we were able to partake some of our favorite dishes of the restaurant chain:
My Aunt wanted some fish so she ordered their Blue Marlin. The marlin was cooked ala bistek as it was marinated with an abodo base and it was cooked on a sizzling plate then topped with some
mushrooms and onions. It is a good dish for lunch and also as a pulutan for the health conscious. Mooon Cafe also serves beer and many people come here to chill and enjoy a bottle or 2.
We also ordered Mooon Cafe's famous Baby Back Ribs. The serving size is large enough for two people and it is an excellent dish that can be shared.
My food trip at Mooon will never be complete without ordering some of their Mexican-inspired dishes. There are just days that I can survive with tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and nachos in my belly. There are new Mexican restaurants in Cebu but I still feel that Mooon Cafe offers me the best value among the Mexican restaurants in Cebu if consider location and the variety of choices.
Mooon Cafe has a few pasta dishes on their menu. The place will not disappoint the pasta lovers.
Mooon Cafe's menu is a collection of mouthwatering and tummy filling dishes that will guarantee an excellent dining experience at not so expensive prices. The variety is great that every visit to Mooon Cafe can be a new gastronomic adventure. I hope to see you in one of Mooon Cafe's branches in the near future. ;)
