Food Question of the Week: When was the last time you had Ice Candy?

Ice Cand in Cebu, Where can you buy Ice Candy

I remember back when I was a kid and ice cream is too expensive, I always love to eat Ice Candy! It is one of my favorite desserts especially during summer.  There was a time that one piece was sold at 50 centavos.  Recently, I was able to buy some at Isidra Comfort Cantina for 15 pesos each. I was like someone starved for food that I finished the 2 sticks in just a couple of minutes while driving. How about you, when was the last time you had Ice Candy? How much was the cheapest Ice Candy that you ever bought?

    1. It is in Capitol Site. Same side streets going NBI Cebu. It is just walking distance from Cebu Doctor's Hospital. Coming from Capitol turn right at the corner of BPI. It is in the right side 1 block after turning right.

I'm not a big fan of ice candies, but my mom sells Ice Candy when we still have a sari-sari store. I am more in Ice Buko, love it, especially when it's summer.

  11. Summer of last year! Oh wow that was quite a long time ago. My sister and I made these chocolate and buko pandan ice candies because the heat was too much and ice cream was way too expensive to have on a daily basis. Haha! This post is a reminder for us to make some again this year. Yay. The cheapest I could remember was 3 pesos but that was more than a decade ago...

  20. It's been years since I had ice candy. But what I like to do is to stick a chuckie inside the freezer and once it's completely frozen, put it outside to thaw. When it thaws a little bit, I transfer it into a bowl and mash it. Then I have chuckie ice slush. ^_^

  21. Oh yeah I love ice candies but now that you asked I think the last time I had one was summer last year. Since summer is coming, I gotta hunt for them again. heheh :)

  22. Now that you know all about the different types of drug tests that could be administered, keep in mind that the most frequently used is the urine test. It is the kind of test most likely to be administered to a potential or current employee for businesses and employers. It’s small enough to hide underneath your dress and can carry just enough fake pee to satisfy your testers. It comes with the leg strap itself and a handy little bottle to store your fake pee.laweekly.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Screen-Shot-2021-06-01-at-1.
