Full Menu: L'Artisan French and Mediterranean Cuisine
Chef Jeffrey Broutin recently unleashed the full menu of L'Artisan French and Mediterranean Cuisine, the 2016 Sunstar Best of Cebu Restaurant of the Year. I was fortunate that I was one of the bloggers invited to the event. After the meal, I realized that this restaurant at Oakridge Business Park deserves all the accolades and wonderful reviews that they have received over the past year.
It was not my first time to eat at L'Artisan. I dined here 6 months ago with my cousin and we enjoyed our meal. The couple behind this beautiful place is Chef Jeffrey Broutin and wife Herley. They are very friendly and accommodating and most likely you will meet and interact with them if you dine at L'Artisan. For the press launch of their new menu, they served us almost 30 dishes from soups to desserts that they aptly called happy endings.
The Dishes of L'Artisan French, and Mediterranean Cuisine
Soups
Pumpkin Soup - 140
French Onion and Cheese Soup - 165
Sour Fish Soup - 125
Their soup line-up is composed of three different options. You could go classic French and have French Onion and Cheese Soup. You may want to have a creamy vegetarian option with the pumpkin soup or you can have the Sour Fish Soup if you love sipping sour soups like sinigang.
Melanges
Baked Scallops - 195
Smoked Chicken Rollito de Primavera - 215
Pritchon Arancini -239
For appetizers, Chef Jeffrey had his take on some dishes that are familiar to Filipinos. Cebu is rich in seafood and the chef made his version of the Filipino restaurant favorite, baked scallops. For people who love lumpia and spring rolls, he made the Smoked Chicken Rollito de Primavera. For those who love lechon, he made a pritchon arancini made of risotto balls that are filled with crispy pork.

Aside from pork, they have beef, duck, chicken, and lamb. Pescatarians will not be left out as they also serve some outstanding seafood dishes. The main vegetarian option would be the Margherita Pizza.

Kalami Cebu Favorites:
On that day we tried so many excellent dishes but if I have to pick a few favorites then this is my list:
Kalami Cebu's Top 7:
Pizza: Far From Home - This special pizza is made of cheese from Chef's hometown.
Appetizers: Snails - There are very few restaurants that serve snails that are as beautiful and classy with what you will find here. I really like its flavor and how the chef prepared it.
Appetizers: House Smoked Ham Platter - The carnivore in me just cannot resist this.
Mains: Parrot Fish - I am just amazed how Chef Jeffrey used the mol-mol (Parrot Fish) in a French Seafood dish.
Mains: Duck - It is expensive but if I have the money to spare, I would order this. It's perfectly cooked. It is crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Mains: Lamb - I could have easily picked the Pork belly but I want to give props to Chef for this dish.
Desserts: Any but I would probably pick the Dark Chocolate Brownies if I dined there today.
