Suroy sa Surigao Day 2
In Day 2 of my Surigao escapade, I visited some of the islands under Surigao City. The first one was Hikdop Island which had two popular tourist destinations. The first one is the Buenavista Cave and the second one is the Pagkawasan Beach. After our adventures at Hikdop Island, our Suroy sa Surigao tour took us to Basul Island before going back to the mainland.
Cafes in Cebu: Brussels Cafe Banawa
One time, I was looking for a good place to eat at the Banawa area. I end up parking at Paseo Arcenas and checked out the several lunch options there. I saw Brussels Cafe and decided to eat lunch there. The cafe has a very cabin-like feel. I can see many European products on display. I expected this place to be different from the typical cafes in the city.
101 Best Places to Eat Around Cebu | Lechon Brunch at Larawan Beach, Talisay City
We all know that Lechon is almost synonymous to Cebu. In Cebu, you can practically have the best lechon in the world any time of the week. For me, one of the best food experiences is to have a lechon brunch at Poblacion, Talisay City, Cebu. The food stalls near Larawan Beach open every weekend early in the morning until afternoon. It is indeed one of my favorite brunch places in the world.
Celebrating Chinese New Year 2018 in Cebu
I am not Chinese but the possibility of having a Chinese ancestor is not really remote. As Ka Bino Guerrero said, "if you shake a Cebuano's family tree hard enough, a Chinese will fall off!". We recently celebrated the Lunar New Year or more popularly known as Chinese New Year. I consider myself fortunate as I was able to witness two grand Chinese New Year celebrations. I went to Marco Polo Plaza Cebu for Chinese New Year's Eve and then to Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino Mactan for the New Year's Day feast.
