Happening Today: A Star-Studded Civic Concert at Plaza Independencia, Cebu

 

Plaza Independencia will come alive today, not just with music but with a message. In the final stretch before the May 12 elections, Cebuanos are in for a unique gathering that blends entertainment with civic engagement, featuring some of the country’s most beloved artists — all showing support for senatorial candidate Kiko Pangilinan.

Starting at 4:30 PM, the historic Plaza will transform into a festival of music, community, and meaningful conversations. Among those taking the stage are icons like Sharon Cuneta, Piolo Pascual, Gary Valenciano, Kuh Ledesma, Darren Espanto, Rivermaya, and Pinky Amador. Last weekend, our friends from JPark Island Resort and Waterpark invited several bloggers to check out their world-class amenities and food and beverage outlets.  JPark Island Resort and Waterpark is a pretty impressive resort hotel and for me, the highlight of the activity was definitely the lunch at The Abalone Restaurant .  The lunch buffet reminded me that the resort hotel has one of the best eat-all-you-can buffets in Cebu.
