Food of the Day: Lechon Manok ni Sr. Pedro
It has been a while since I bought some lechon manok and eat it at home. One of my first options when it comes to lechon manok or roasted chicken is Ang Lechon Manok ni Sr. Pedro. One time on my way home from Mandaue, I decided to drop by the Sr. Pedro branch at H. Cortez Street and bought one whole chicken for dinner.
One good thing with the H.Cortez branch of Sr. Pedro was the availability of parking. The street sometimes get busy, but cars are allowed to stop right in front of the store in order for people to buy delicious roast chicken. One whole roast chicken now costs 170 pesos.
Food that you have not tasted for a long time usually tastes very good. I enjoyed my chicken dinner. I found the meat of the Sr. Pedro chicken very juicy and flavorful. The skin is usually my favorite part because all the flavors and juices usually end up there. I am very sure that I will be craving for some Lechon Manok ni Sr. Pedro one of these days.
My favorite chicken part is the breast part, how about you? Which part of a whole roasted chicken will you eat first? Feel free to comment your answers down below. ;)
