#happytummy Mother's Day 2015 Part 1: Lunch Buffet at Feria
Mother's Day is one of the special occasions that we usually celebrate by eating out. This year was a bit more special because I got to celebrate it twice - one for my mother-in-law and one for my mom. Since my mom is based in Australia, I rarely celebrate Mother's Day with her and for almost a decade, I just spend it with my wife and my parents in law. This recent summer, I first celebrated the special holiday for moms with my wife's family then a few days later, I got to spend a belated Mother's Day dinner with my mom. For Part I, me, my wife, and her parents went to Feria at Radisson Blu for the restaurant's Mother's Day Lunch Buffet.
Feria has always been one of our family's favorite hotel restaurants. We dine at Feria at least twice a year. Eating at Feria is like going to an international culinary festival. You can have some sushi and sashimi from Japan, pizza from Italy, Tandoori meat from India, Pecking Duck from China, Grilled Seafoods from the Philippines, Lechon from Cebu, and Turkey from the U.S.A. The choices are so many and can sometimes be overwhelming. After minutes of indecisiveness, I decided to get some sushi and Peking Duck for appetizer, a Chinese chicken noodle soup, and for the main course I just got some grilled seafood and differents meat cuts grilled from the Tandoori oven.
Radisson Blu's Feria, as expected delivered one of the best meals that I had for 2015. The selection was impressive and we all had a massive those of #happytummy. For me, the highlights of their Mother's Day buffet were the grilled lobsters and prawns. I was lucky get a plateful because it was such big hit and Feria ran out of lobsters and prawns by 1 pm. The experience cemented Feria as one of my favorite eat-all-you-can buffets in Cebu. Mother's Day 2015 was such a delight to our tongue and bellies. It was great that we were able to have an amazing lunch together.
Belated Mother's Day to all Moms and I hope you had a memorable Mother's Day as well.
Where did you go last Mother's Day? What are your plans on Father's Day? :)
