Cafes in Cebu: Pasta and Cake at Degree 9 Coffee and Roasting

It has been a while since I last talked to my friend +Nezte Virtudazo who is taking up Law at the University of San Carlos.  I usually drill him with  some law-related questions just to keep himself sharp in his freshman year in law school.  One of our favorite study hangouts is Degree 9 Coffee.  We just usually have coffee or tea.  Recently, we had a meet-up during finals week.

Instead of ordering the usual drinks at Degree 9 Coffee and Roasting, he decided to treat me snacks.  There were a lot of options at the coffee.  They have assorted cakes and cream puffs.  I was able to control my urge to eat something sweet and I just decided to have pasta.

Nezte decided to get the Oreo Cheesecake.  He always love sweet items and having a cake at a cafe is not unusual with him.

I had Degree 9's version of macaroni and cheese.

The verdict:  It was a good afternoon snack.  I really enjoyed the pasta while finishing several articles for my blog.  I was also able to quiz Nezte who was also enjoying his cheesecake.   I never expected to eat hot food at this cafe, but I was really happy I decided to have one on that afternoon.  Since the place is near my house, I would probably spend some afternoons at Degree 9 Coffee and Roasting to do some writing.  It is a very good place to study or even do some writing because they have decent WiFi connection, yummy food items, and wonderful coffee creations.
