Pochero, Scallops, Barbecue, and Veggies at Muvanz
I was looking for a place to eat in the Mango Avenue area and I suddenly remembered that it has been a while since I last ate at Muvanz. Muvanz Pocherohan and Seafoods has been one of +Nezte Virtudazo's favorite eateries in the area. The placed was introduced to me by him during one of our night outs with the Rainmakers Group. Since it has been a while, I took a couple of friends here for lunch.
Pochero - Their beef shank soup is priced at 130 pesos. The serving is good enough for 1-2 people. It is not as big the pochero from Abuhan or Marjo's. The soup is seasoned well and it has a thick consistency.
Pork Barbecue - A set of Pork Barbecue costs 75 pesos which translate to 15 a stick. It is made of 3 slices of pork. The flavor is good, but it is a bit expensive for its size.
Scallops. This is also one of the bestsellers at Muvanz. The scallops are cooked in cream and butter. The dish goes so well with rice and the serving is quite generous for 60 pesos.
Mixed Vegetables. Muvanz Pocherohan and Seafoods serves a good mixed vegetable dish. For the dish, they use Brocolli, Cauliflower, Young Corn, Mushroom, and Squid. A serving is priced at 120 pesos.
Muvanz is a perfect spot to have dinner before going to a night out in Mango Avenue. It serves affordable and delicious food that will provide the calories needed to have an awesome night of dancing and merrymaking. ;)
Muvanz Pocherohan and Seafoods is located at Century Plaza, Juana Osmena Complex, Cebu City. If you coming from Mango Avenue near STC going to Fuente Osmena, you can turn right at the corner of National Bookstore. After making the turn, Century Plaza is just around 100 meters to your right.
The restaurant specializes in Filipino food like pochero, barbecue, and seafood dishes. Their pricing is perfect students and young working people. Here are some of their specialties:
