My wife and I usually eat out on weekends. Since it has been a while that we last ate lechon, we decided to look for a yummy lechon place. There used to be an eatery that serves very delicious boneless lechon near our house, but the eatery moved. I used Google to search where Tatang's Extra Crispy Boneless Lechon relocated and found out that they have a branch in Wilson Street, Lahug. We went there and had an extra crispy and extra spicy dinner.
Tatang's Extra Crispy Boneless Lechon serves boneless lechon in 2 varieties: Regular and Spicy. Lechon is sold by the kilo with the spicy being sold at 590 a kilo while the regular is priced at 580 pesos a kilo. You may buy 1/4 kilo or 12 kilo. They also have a lechon value meal at 95 pesos. Tatang's also has other interesting dishes like lechon flakes, lechon wraps, and sizzling lechon sisig. My wife and I ordered a half kilo of lechon, 2 cups of rice, and 2 bottles of soft drinks.
Unlike some food stalls that serves "spicy" dishes yet serving viands that fail to deliver the hype, Tatang's makes no comprises when it comes to making their Boneless Lechon spicy. You can really see with your order the generous amount of spices and chilis that that they use to flavor their extra crispy boneless lechon. I really recommend this place for people who love hot dishes. For people who have a low tolerance for spicy food, I strongly recommended that you get the regular boneless lechon.
We really had a great time there and I am so happy that I was able to eat at Tatang's Extra Crispy Boneless Lechon after a year. I will definitely go back to try lechon sisig, lechon wrap, and lechon flakes. ;)
