Hole in the Wall: Pungko-Pungko at Redemptorist
After a week of meat deprivation, I broke my fast with a visit to my favorite pungko-pungko stall near the Redemptorist Church area. This area is one of my favorite places to have some fatty treats. This is second to the J.Llorente area which is near my office.
I had some ginabot, ngohiong, okoy, lumpia ang longanisa for brunch. I was with my cousin Lotlot and my aunt's nurse Christine. I really love it here because some stalls serve okoy (shrimp cake) and fish cake made of bolinaw or anchovies. I do not usually find those in other pungko pungko outlets. It was really a good meal and I might visit this place once again in the near future when I crave for okoy.
This blog entry also signals my return to blogging after a week of posting nothing. I will be posting a lot of food adventures this summer so watch out. ;)
